Korean Ribs

Ingredients

5 lbs. beef ribs, cut across bone and 1/4 inch thick
8 to 10 cloves garlic, minced (approximately 3 tbsp.)
3 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup bottled barbecue sauce
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tbsp. red bean paste

Preparation

Stir together garlic, ginger, sugar and soy sauce. Coat the ribs and marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Mix together the barbeque sauce, onions and bean paste, and pour over the ribs. In a large baking dish, layer the ribs and pour the sauce mixture over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 300 degrees for 2 hours; reduce heat to 200 degrees and bake another 2 hours.
