Teriyaki Ribs

Ingredients

2 lbs. pork ribs (sawed in half)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 raw onion
1 cup good soy sauce
1/4 cup sherry
1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Preparation

Parboil the pork ribs in water, salt and pepper, and onion, until the meat shrinks from the edge of the ribs. Marinate in a baking pan for 3-4 hours, or for a stronger flavor marinate in refrigerator for 1 or 2 days, turning a few times. Combine the soy sauce, sherry, garlic, sugar and some ground ginger and fresh black pepper if you like marinade spicy. Bake in the marinade in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until crisp.
