1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup Apple Wood Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400F. Rub cinnamon, cloves and pepper into both sides of ribs. Place ribs on wire rack on baking pan. Bake for 3 hours until tender.

2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons dry mustard
fresh ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
1/2 cup red wine vinegar

I like that you precook the ribs before grilling so that the sauce does not burn. Sounds like a great combination of flavors with a litte hint of spice. I will have to try it next time I make ribs.

If you don’t feel like cooking the ribs as long, spice and lightly baste with sauce, then wrap them in foli tightly and bake about half the time. Its a quick way to get them tender before grilling.

    Thanks for the tasty recipe.
