Lassi – Indian Yogurt Drink


Ingredients

1/2 cup yogurt (plain)
1 1/4 cups cold water
1 tsp. rose water
Few drops lemon juice
Sugar to taste
Ice cubes
Mint leaves, optional

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except ice and mint leaves in blender and blend for a few seconds or about a minute. Pour into chilled glasses, add ice. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Pineapple-mint Yogurt Drink


Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can juice-packed crushed pineapple, with juice
1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. chopped fresh mint

Preparation

In a blender or food processor, place the pineapple, yogurt, milk, sugar and mint, and whisk for 1 minute or until smooth and creamy.

Pour into 2 tall glasses and serve. Serves 2
